Sid Lowe is an english journalist based in Spain.

He's a big Real Oviedo fan and helped publicize two share offerings. I got in on each. Not for much money mind you but I have enough Murcia shares to attend the annual general meeting if I want to.

It's similar to a business. If they need to raise funds, they do a share offering. You just buy shares of the club like you would a stock.
